That said, Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn has faith in the Brit heavyweight. Whyte had bossed Povetkin in the original fight until he got caught with a vicious uppercut. Thus, Eddie Hearn believes that ‘The Body Snatcher’ has every chance in the world to avenge his loss on November 21.
Eddie Hearn is ready to put his money on Dillian Whyte in the re-match
Since his crushing defeat, ‘The Body Snatcher’ has been scrutinized brutally by the fans. However, he is still one of the most looming heavyweights in the roster who has every chance of defeating Alexander Povetkin. Especially given the fact that he had already secured two early knockdowns in the original fight.
Talking about it, Hearn told Sky Sports boxing, “Although it was a severe knockout, it was a one-punch knockout and you know he didn’t take any damage in the fight other than that one blow and he has needed time to recover.”

“You know he wanted to go back in camp the next day and I have had to say him at times you need to have three or four weeks off. He has been back doing cardio, bits, and pieces. He is raring to go, I have never seen him as motivated to win this fight.”
If Whyte successfully gets back to the win column, he can challenge the winner of Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3 for the WBC heavyweight strap. However, for the time being, he needs to focus solely on Povetkin.
