“He Gonna Be World Champion”: Fans Elated After Floyd Mayweather Jr’s Grandson Gets Him “On His Knees”

The father of five children, Floyd Mayweather, loves spending his time with his family. Additionally, he also has a grandson, Kentrell Gaulden Jr, from his eldest daughter, Iyanna Mayweather. Mayweather loves his grandson dearly, and the fans can see these two together on several occasions. There have been a lot of videos of playful sparring between Mayweather and Gaulden Jr, but recently, Mayweather added anyone to the list, as he posted a video showcasing their usual playful sparring session.

The video was recorded by Gaulden Jr’s grandmother, Melissia Rene, and then Mayweather posted the video on his Instagram account. He wrote a beautiful caption, expressing his love for his grandson, where he told how grateful he is to have ‘KJ’ in his life. Then he also stated that the music in the video, is from one of Rene’s playlists and he too loves the song.

In the video, Mayweather sparred with his grandson and was telling him to, “fight back” repeatedly. So that he can encourage his grandson to hit him with a good punch, and even Rene can be heard in the background telling him to fight more fiercely. She said, “Box, box KJ.” In a previous sparring video with his grandfather, KJ actually impressed a lot of boxing fans despite being so young.

Even for this video, many boxing fans had great things to say about Gaulden Jr, after watching him sparring with phenomenal skills at such a young age. Some even stated how KJ will have the best teacher for boxing in the whole world.

KJ’s grandmother, Melissia Rene, took it to the comments section of the Post and expressed her love for her beloved grandson. She wrote in her comment, “We spoil him so much 🥰❤️”.

One of the fans, tjbrown59, pointed out how his father, NBA Youngboy‘s genes can be seen flourishing in Kentrell Gaulden Jr. They wrote, “He got that nba young boy in him”.

Another fan, kingmayjor_32, remarked how this could be the first loss of Mayweather’s career, as he can be seen sitting on his knees in the video. They wrote, “He got Floyd on his knees looks like he lost this one 😂”.

adolfocordova10 continued the same joke as they wrote, “50-1”.

nqobilethegoat wrote about how his son has the potential to become a world champion. They wrote, “He’s gonna be world champion”.
