Who would have thought one unfortunate incident back in 1997 would end up making Mike Tyson a boatload of cash? As it turns out, after launching ‘Holy Ears’ in collaboration with Evander Holyfield and his existing cannabis-infused ‘Mike Bites,’ the former Heavyweight is about to launch ‘Bakin Bites’ with Gangster Granny.

All three products are a fun nod to the ‘bite fight’ incident that got ‘Iron’ Mike disqualified from their rematch in the ’90s. Moreover, part of his $160 million Tyson 2.0 business empire under Karma HoldCo’s umbrella, Mike announced the launch of ‘Bakin Bites’ today on Instagram through an ad. So, when fans got their hands on the clip, chaos erupted in the comment section about the product’s launch.

In the clip shared by Tyson 2.0’s Instagram account, Mike can be seen taking a bite out of his new product, as Gangster Granny says, “Keep biting them, Mike!” In response, the heavyweight says, “You know I will!” The clip ends with a tagline, “Every bite is Tyson approved.”  Moreover, alongside the clip, the caption of the post announced the collaboration, “Bakin’ bites with granny @rosssmith.”

Back in 2022, when the ‘Holy Ears’ was launched to the public, Mike had deemed the collaboration a “privilege to reunite” with the former rival. “From Mike Bites to Holy Ears, now cannabis fans around the world can experience the same wellness benefits that plant-based products have brought me,” said Mike in a statement. With such a reputation to uphold, Mike’s new product came as a delight for his fans, as they exploded with excitement.

Mike Tyson is also in partnership with Ric Flair, producing several cannabis-infused products. However, his ‘Bite’ related concussions often lead the charts on popularity. Something that’s more than evident from the responses the post received. 

One user asked why the ‘Bakin Bites’ aren’t available in the stores yet! The user wrote, “How come these ain’t available at the shop?”

Another user sarcastically references the ‘Bite-fight’ incident, claiming the product should be approved by Mike because he did it once. “It must be approved by the owner because he knows best how this should be done,” the user wrote.

Someone else claimed they would buy ‘Bakin Bites’ because they liked another product they tried before. “Gonna have to grab a bag next time, lol. I tried the cookies, peach gummies first – they slap,” the user commented.
