Ahead of the 22nd of April, Gervonta Davis strictly advised Ryan Garcia to stick to Instagram boxing. The current WBA lightweight title holder strongly believes that actual boxing is not for Ryan Garcia and that he should instead train people inside a gym. Recently, Garcia allegedly approached Davis with a friendship proposal that led ‘Tank’ to conclude Ryan Garcia should stay away from the ring.

In his recent interview with 360 with Speedy Morman, Garcia called Gervonta Davis “an emotional guy“. In his opinion, Davis reacted to everything. “I don’t think he understands himself quite well,” claimed ‘KingRy’. According to Davis, Garcia was intoxicated when he approached ‘Tank’ with his proposal for friendship. The said occurrence has led Davis to brand Garcia as a “soft type stuff“. In his opinion, with this attitude, Garcia, who hopes to bring massive changes to the sport, should quit professional boxing. “He should train people or something like that,” added ‘Tank’ Davis.
