The heavyweight division, right from the old era, had some of the most staggering rivalries in boxing. Ali vs Liston, Tyson vs Lewis, Tyson vs Holyfield were some rivalries that are rightly registered in the history books. Talking about the modern-day rivals in the big division, one can only think of Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury.

Both these men locked horns thrice and their trash talks too were one for the ages. Ahead of their second fight in 2020, Wilder opened up on a quirky comment made by ‘The Gypsy King’.

Speaking to It’s Poppin, he said, “What Fury was talking about how he was using s**ual slurs and he was he was really showing his true colors of him coming out the closet. You know he was coming out closet he was, you know.”

“And ain’t nothing wrong with coming out the closet, you know. I don’t have no problem with nobody that liking the same gender you know, and I think that what he’s trying to say without really saying just using the boxing term that he wanted to have s*x with me and no thank you Fury”

Fury and Wilder’s second fight was a one-sided outing wherein the Brit outboxed the Alabama native with his power and aggressive fight approach.

Also, in one of the rounds, Fury had Wilder on the ropes and he abruptly took out his tongue to taste blood. Commentators and analysts saw this and everyone was stunned to see what Fury was actually up to.
