He had no other alternative but to win. By his admission, Jake Paul had to beat Nate Diaz at their American Airlines meetup in August. And win, he did. While the unanimous victory over Diaz may not have succeeded in quieting the naysayers, the YouTuber-turned-boxer seems amenable to testing other shores. ‘The Problem Child’ has flipped the coin for $10 million with his recent opponent, an acclaimed grappler. If a mixed martial arts match comes to fruition, it’ll be a double delight for fans. In the meantime, for Jake Paul, happiness unfolded on the streets of New York.

So early today, on his Instagram story, Jake Paul wrote that while driving through the bustling streets of New York, he met with a fan who mentioned that he planned on ending his life. However, ‘The Problem Child’ saved his life, and now he looked forward to coming out on top.

Jake Paul reveals fans’ life-changing stories

Jake Paul said, “Within 30 seconds here in NYC, driving down the street with the window down, a fan told me I saved his life and without me, he was going to kill himself and that he was going to make it big one day…” The YouTuber-turned-boxer is sure that he will achieve what he wants. Finally, he came across a family from Indonesia. He made a quick video for the son; his mother could barely believe her fortune. Jake Paul said, “Everyone always focuses on the negative drama and hate these days, so I’am highlighting and focusing on my positives. You should, too! Love – JP

A showdown awaiting fighters

Per a few reports, Paul’s offer to Nate Diaz for a cage fight seems to have hit the first hurdle. Reportedly, he has alleged that the Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt has dodged the $10 million offer. Speaking to TMZ Sports, he said, “Nate Diaz ducked the 10 million dollar offer, um, so he’s not the [the] badass that everyone said he was because I wanted to fight him in MMA and do something that no boxer has really ever done… I want to go into MMA, and Nate Diaz ducked the offer.

Seemingly incensed at Paul’s statement, Nate Diaz launched a comeback on X with a pick from their August 5 fight when he held ‘The Problem Child’ in what looked like a guillotine choke. He said they could go for boxing or MMA under his promotion, Real Fight Inc.

The year began with an unmelodic jingle for Jake Paul. Long-time rival Tommy Fury handed him his first professional loss. Already battling questions on the choice of his opponents, defeat by a pedigreed boxer jacked up questions on his credentials as a boxer. A decision-based victory over a fighter making his boxing debut may have quieted a few. Fans are keenly watching where the talks on the MMA fight with Diaz finally end up. In the meantime, Jake Paul has other options, such as the rematch with Tommy Fury and, of course, a face-off with archrival KSI.
