Then he further expanded on what the lion tries to do to establish his dominance. Tyson said, “It’s just something he’ll be playing with your son, he go over there play with your wife“.

Then Tyson explains how a tiger’s behavior is different from that of a lion. He said, “Now the tiger doesn’t do that. He’ll stay with one person, even if it’s your kid, wife she tell you, (groans). No one can come by me.” Now, Mike Tyson also had a mountain lion for some time, and he had a bit of an accident with it. So Tyson was trying to give it a tetanus shot when he was bitten by the lion, and in turn, had to get six or seven stitches for it.

Mike Tyson was then asked by Cedric, about the incentive to keep such a wild carnivorous animal as a pet. What good could come of it?

So, Mike Tyson goes on to talk about the time he was in prison, one time he was talking to his ‘car dealer’ as he wanted to buy a car. And a friend of Tyson owed the car dealer some money. So he had some of the friend’s cars as leverage.

The car dealer was planning to sell the cars and get some animals from the money. So Tyson asked him, “What the f**k you mean animals?” So, the dealer replies that maybe he’d get a horse or a coyote, or a wolf. And then the car dealer expresses his fascination as he thought it’d be cool if Tyson had a Ferrari and on the passenger seat, there was a tiger sitting on it.

This idea amazed Mike Tyson, and he instantly said, “Yeah give me three of them.” Then a week later, when Mike Tyson was out of prison, his car dealer sent the three tigers to his address. So this is the story of how Tyson got his pet tigers.
