“He’s a Wild Fighter”: Logan Paul Does Not Hold Back While Defending KSI’s Elbow KO Against Joe Fournier

Forty-year-old nightclub owner and boxer Joe Fournier must be on the good books of stars. A loss to KSI on May 13 would have sullied his boxing record. But thankfully, Professional Boxing Association (PBA) came to his rescue and declared the fight a ‘no-contest’. The reversal incensed the YouTuber-turned-boxer and now a businessman-promoter to utter disappointment. However, he still has a few backers, including former foe and now long-time partner Logan Paul.

A few hours ago, episode 380 of the ImPaulsive podcast came up on YouTube. It was the siblings’ turn, Jake Paul and Abby Majlak, to join the hosts! Before ‘The Problem Child’ joined the trio, during the brief interlude, Mike Majlak and Logan Paul thanked the viewers for making their show a spectacular success. Then the elder Paul called his girlfriend, Nina Agdal, to promote his Prime Hydration in her native Danish.

Logan Paul stands by his friend KSI 

By the time Jake Paul came, the conversation, for apparent reasons, hit the upcoming bout with Nate Diaz. When the elder brother asked how did he manage to get the match with the mixed martial artist despite his efforts to bag it, the younger sibling said, “…honestly is that he thought the world would view our fight as like way more legitimate than you him fighting you like to him was like a money grab because you hadn’t beaten anybody.”

Logan Paul mentioned that he had beaten Floyd Mayweather Jr., to everyone’s amusement. And soon, the conversation converged on the influencer boxing scene. So, when Mike Majlak asked Jake Paul about his views on the KSI versus Fournier match, ‘The Problem Child’ agreed with the decision to turn the bout into a ‘no contest’ since it was clearly an illegal elbow.

Then as he explained from his boxing experience, Logan Paul interjected that KSI elbowed accidentally. To which Jake Paul pointed out that he might be the only person holding such views! The Prime Hydration boss kept up with his argument that it was preposterous to think that KSI did that deliberately. When his younger brother mentioned that he’s a ‘dirty fighter,’ Logan Paul said, “I don’t. I wouldn’t even say that. I would say he’s a wild fighter…he just throws, he just throws…..”

This wouldn’t be the first time Logan Paul has steeped in defense of his partner and friend KSI. After the exhibition match against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2021, when asked by podcaster Brian Davis, aka True Geordie, as to who punches harder between Mayweather Jr. and KSI, Paul responded, “KSI for sure, for sure, not even a competition. Mayweather has clean shots, and I was like, cool, good job. KSI, I was like, keep me away from those hands.”
