“He Can’t Take a Body Shot”: Oleksandr Usyk’s Brutal Strength Training in Recent Training Clip Ahead of Tyson Fury Fight Fails to Strike the Right Chord With Fans

The unified world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk has never failed to put on a show in the ring. He is one of the best boxers in the world right now. The fact that he has made an appearance in the pound-for-pound rankings for the last few years is evidence of his skills and prowess. The Ukrainian fighter is set to go up against The ‘Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury, this February.
Usyk remains undefeated with a record of 21-0-0. But he is not the only one. Fury is also undefeated, holding a record of 34-0-1. Fury describes their bout as “A fight for the ages.” Moreover, the winner of their fight will become the undisputed heavyweight champion, while the loser will suffer his first-ever career loss. It’s a risk-it-all fight for both of them. Leading up to the fight, Usyk has shared a clip of him training in the gym. Let us look at what the champion is up to.

Usyk took to social media platform X, to showcase footage of his training. In the video, he can be seen flipping and catching what seems to be some very heavy kettlebells with ease. Usyk’s strength goes unquestioned as we just saw him beat Daniel Dubois with a knockout in his last match in the 9th round.

As the match dawns closer and closer, we get to see more of what each fighter will bring to the ring. The ones that will have the most bang for their buck are the fans. However, as impressive as the clip seems, it failed to impress some fans who took to the comment section to share their opinions.

Fans question Oleksandr Usyk’s training
Fans showed a variety of opinions in the comment section. Some were supportive while some were against him. “He’s gonna get the job done against Fury. Tyson always struggles against the smaller guys, and Usyk’s style will be too awkward!” said one fan, showing confidence in Usyk, stating how Tyson will struggle against his smaller frame.
