Tenny, on the other hand, expressed frustration with the comparison, insisting that Mayweather has ‘no peers’ in the sport and that Stevenson simply cannot compare to him.

Mayor Of Kingstown was also against the comparison, saying that Stevenson is on his own path and should not be compared to Mayweather.

Finally, Raymond Jackson Jr. acknowledged that Stevenson is the closest thing to Mayweather that the boxing world has seen, but praised Mayweather as a magician in the ring and a one-of-a-kind fighter.

Despite the mixed reactions, some fans like Cameron McCamey were optimistic about Stevenson’s future, predicting that he will become something even better than Mayweather.
