With only hours left, former two-division world champion Paul Malignaggi believes Jake Paul vs. Andre August will end with a KO. While the mentioned bout will be Jake Paul’s ninth professional appearance, Andre August will enter the pro ring for the 13th time.
However, although August is already 35, Jake is only 26 years old and has already had massive financial success in pro boxing. At this, given Paul’s love for boxing and his approach to the sport, Malignaggi believes Paul will achieve a spectacular victory over August in the ring.

Paul Malignaggi believes in Jake Paul’s ability to deliver a knockout with a tweaked approach
In his two years in professional boxing, not fighting “a real boxer,” is one of the biggest criticisms that Jake Paul has faced. Likewise, despite having already generated $250 million in pay-per-view revenue, ‘The Problem Child’ feels he must prove himself against someone as experienced as his upcoming opponent Andre August, who has been in the sport for a decade. For the same reason, Paul has stated he would “look for a knockout,” and show “who the better boxer is.” With that statement, while some feel ‘The Problem Child’ is overconfident, Paul Malignaggi agrees with the YouTuber-turned-boxer. Hence, taking to X, Malignaggi declared that with “some adjustments,” Jake Paul would “KO August.”
Jake Paul could have done anything with his platform and he became a boxer. He has some adjustments to make but I’m taking him to KO August.

Additionally, in Malignaggi’s opinion, by choosing to become a boxer despite having the resources to pursue a career in any field, Jake already proved his dedication to the sport. Speaking about his dedication, Paul recently declared that he will win a world title in boxing.
