Over the years, Logan Paul has made quite a name for himself in the world of combat sports. Despite starting his career doing YouTube, Paul has sold a pay-per-view against Floyd Mayweather, got himself a Guinness World Record, and even made a WrestleMania debut alongside The Miz. And it seems like there’s so much that lies ahead on his path.

The Maverick first entered the ring in 2018 in Manchester, UK. He fought against fellow YouTuber, KSI, and the bout ended in a draw. A year later, the duo met again and fought each other at the cruiserweight limit. The fight went the distance, and KSI won via decision. After this match, Logan Paul’s life significantly changed, and the YouTuber gave celebrity fighting a whole new shape from here onwards.

However, in a recent episode of the Impaulsive podcast, in the presence of guest Gary Vee, Logan Paul revealed he did not initially want to fight KSI. The following is what he said.

“I almost didn’t do that fight. I believe it took Danny RackaRacka. It took him in the kitchen hyping me up. Going, man, “You have to fight him. It’s gonna be the biggest thing ever.” I’m like KSI’s from the UK. We have a different audience. Who’s gonna watch that fight?”

He goes, “Mate, you have to do.” And just cause Danny RackaRacka pushed me, I had a fight with KSI,” Paul added.

In the first match, as the fight began, Paul showed a good stance and attempted quick jabs at KSI. However, KSI, being more light on his feet, made different angles and found Paul most of the time still in the center.

Although Paul seemed a bigger person, KSI fought more offensively and landed some impactful shots on the opponent. However, the fight was more or less back-and-forth, and so ended in a draw.
