Besides being the boxer known for his defensive prowess, Floyd Mayweather is a great father. He’s always tried to provide all of his children with every ounce of happiness. Recently, one of his daughters, Jirah Mayweather, posted some fun pictures from her camera roll. In some pictures, she also flaunted her watches and necklaces, the same way her father likes to show off his expensive jewelry. But amongst all the flash and pomp, Jirah Mayweather also shared some pictures of her beloved late mother.

Three years ago, on March 10, 2020, Jirah’s mother, Josie Harris, was found dead in her car due to an overdose. Unsurprisingly, this was a major setback to the entire Mayweather family. Despite being distanced from one another, Mayweather still cared about his daughter. In a recent Instagram post, Jirah Mayweather posted her mother’s old picture, inciting a flurry of reactions from her fans.

The relationship between Floyd Mayweather and Josie Harris was quite turbulent, even though they had three kids together: Jirah, Zion, and Koraun. However, despite all the conflicts, the grief of her bereavement was too much for Mayweather. He recalled her as a “sweet soul” in his appearance on the ‘Hollywood Unlocked with Jason Lee: Uncensored’ show. He also said, “Everything I asked for in life, any and everything I thought about in life, I got. And I’ll say this every day, just for her to come back, I’ll give it all, man.”

So, Harris is still alive in the memories of her ex-husband and daughter. Jirah Mayweather is the third daughter of the couple, who came into her parents’ life on June 20, 2003. The demise of Harris impacted Jirah quite deeply, as she felt estranged from the world. Right after her death, she also made a post on X. She wrote about how close she was with her mother in comparison to her father.
