Jake Paul‘s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) shared an interesting post. It featured Mike Tyson sharing some of his profound insights during an interview. However, with just two weeks left until the big fight against Jake Paul, there’s a chance ‘Iron” Mike’s words may raise some concerns among fans. It’s been a few months since the mid-flight medical emergency, which led to the cancellation of the duo’s earlier scheduled fight on July 20.

Keeping up with the date, ‘The Problem Child’ went ahead and squared up against Mike Perry. It took a few weeks before supporters heard something reassuring about Mike Tyson. The lead-up to November 15 at the AT&T Stadium has generated significant buzz with discussions, talks, podcasts, tweets, and even trolls contributing to the hype. Just a few days ago, during an interview, Tyson shared his thoughts on Paul’s boxing abilities and the fight playout. So will the latest revelation cause renewed worry?

Mike Tyson: I will not settle for anything less.

Initially, Mike Tyson shared what would happen if he won the fight against Jake Paul. “If I win, I’ll be immortal,” he said. But there’s always a flip side to a story. So what would happen if he didn’t succeed? Considering his age, ring activity, and medical issues, there’s reasonable tension among fans about how the fight might impact boxing’s youngest heavyweight champion.

But the former champion remains clear: “If I do it badly, I don’t wanna die in a hospital bedroom; I wanna die in a ring.” According to a story in USA Today, concerns from certain quarters have resurfaced, particularly after the emergence of Tyson’s recent training footage.

On the week-old post, Mike Tyson stated, “Oh, I can’t wait for November 15th. I’m charging right through you.” The footage featured him wearing a compression sleeve on his right knee. But subsequently, he could be seen throwing some heavy punches. Later, he stepped into the ring for a sparring session.

Time-tested and still active

A few days ago, Mike Tyson was in conversation with Mike Doocy from Fox 4 Dallas. The sports anchor expressed an interest in knowing how the November 15 fight would play out. Mike Tyson shared that it wouldn’t last long since ‘The Problem Child’ might resort to constant movement around the ring. “I don’t see how he’s going to fight by running all day,” Tyson said. So the chances of the Ohioan facing him mano-a-mano appear unlikely to him.

Even the sparring footage was quite stirring. It showed Tyson raring to continue despite trainer Rafael Cordeiro‘s imploration to stop for the day. Post-session, when Cordeiro started removing his headgear, the former heavyweight champion called out, “I got a lot in me. I’m just getting started.

Probably, it might just be a phase. Boxers often go through a range of emotions during the fight lead-ups. Given its peculiarity, the concerns surrounding the Tyson-Paul engagement are genuine.

But then we’re talking about one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time. Even at 58, ‘Iron’ Mike remains an unstoppable force of nature. Win or lose, should Mike Tyson continue with another fight after Jake Paul?
