Jermell Charlo is moving up in weight to fight Canelo Alvarez. This fight announcement left the boxing world in splits. He credits his success to his impeccable power and a mindset to dominate his opponent in entirety. In an interview, he stated that he wanted his opponents to fear him and respect his skillsets, especially his power. He stated, “Everybody gotta get it. Everybody gotta go to sleep! I ain’t here to punch somebody and get punched back. I want my punches to have respect.”
