“I’m More Intrigued by This Back and Forth”: John Fury, Mike Tyson Trash Talk Steals the Show at Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou Final Presser and Fans Are All for It

There is only a couple of days left for the showdown between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou. The biggest crossover event in boxing history is going to go down, as two fighters from different fields of expertise, are going to face each other inside the boxing ring. Although most of the fans favor the WBC boxing champion, there’s one reliable man standing strong in the corner of the former UFC fighter. Mike Tyson believes that if Ngannou plays his cards right, he could actually be able to beat Tyson Fury.

This didn’t sit well with Fury’s father, John Fury, who had named his son after the Youngest Heavyweight champion. Therefore, he even criticized ‘Iron’ Mike for being in the opposite corner  to the Fury family, but in the final press conference, he took it to another level. Big John challenged ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ to a boxing fight.

John Fury wants to fight ‘Kid Dynamite’

During the final presser, John Fury talked about his experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and how he is having a great time there. He also added that he has been sitting in the company of great people like Mike Tyson, but he asked for a “special mention“. Then he started saying how he fears nobody, except God himself. He doesn’t think anybody can beat him in one-on-one combat, no matter how many accolades his opponent bears throughout his career. He said, “Here I am, any man alive wants to fight John Fury, I’m ready to go, Mike Tyson what have you got to say to that my brother?” Mike Tyson listened to Fury’s challenge, but it was obvious that he was there to have a good time. He said, “Hey brother, I’m just looking forward for this fight to start. At first, when it came to me I said ‘there’s no way this is going to happen’. Then I watched him [Ngannou] spar and he hit this guy, I don’t know what sparring partner, some white guy.”

So Mike Tyson made it quite clear that he wasn’t interested in taking on a fight at the age of 57. However, three years ago, Tyson made a return in the ring against Roy Jones Jr, so there’s a possibility, it could happen again. The fans presented their thoughts on this.

One of the fans stated that Mike Tyson’s ability to answer questions is very underappreciated. They wrote, “Mike Tyson’s question-answering skills are so underrated.”

Another fan mentioned that the presser was more interesting than the actual fight between Fury and Ngannou. They wrote, “Im more intrigued by this back and forth between Mike and John than this fight.”

A fan stated that Mike Tyson could easily knock out John Fury into a different dimension if they ever fought. They wrote, “Mike Tyson would knock John into another dimension.”

One fan was amazed to see that there’s still somebody alive who can trash-talk Mike Tyson. They wrote, “I don’t remember the last time I seen someone trash talked Mike Tyson.”

A user commended Fury’s father, that he actually knows how to sell the fight using his antics. They wrote, “John Fury knows how to hype up a fight.”

The fans had a clear bias towards Mike Tyson if he ever decided to square up against John Fury. The bias is obvious as Tyson has fought more fights than John Fury, and has also been the Heavyweight champion at the tender age of 20.
