Besides Canelo Alvarez‘s impressive victory over Jaime Munguia which made a statement, the event in Las Vegas witnessed Adrien Broner reconcile with former opponent Marcos Maidana. Billed as ‘Danger Zone,’ Marcos Maidana vs. Adrien Broner took place in 2013 when an experienced Maidana schooled Broner who attempted to bully the Argentine.

Ahead of the fight, Broner was overconfident and called Maidana several names. With an undefeated record of 24 professional wins, Broner claimed Maidana would quit against ‘The Problem’ and accept Adrien as a “bad motherf*****r“. However, as you may recall, Maidana remained unfazed and during an interview with BoxingScene, the then-30-year-old announced, “I won’t let him [Broner] disrespect me.”

True to his words, when the bell rang, the Argentine boxer had a quick start and attacked ‘The Problem’ with a flurry of punches. However, to shock the boxing world, Broner continued playing an unlikable character as he humped his opponent in the ring! But, as fate would have it Maidana completely outclassed Broner to win via UD. In this connection, when Broner hugged Maidana today, the gesture shocked a certain group of fans.
