Following the collapse of the potential bout between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, the Ukrainian boxer is back to face a mandatory challenger in Daniel Dubois. Since Usyk and Fury could not agree on “material terms” other than the 70/30 greedy-belly split, a sudden halt was imposed upon Usyk vs. Fury. As per the latest updates, with the prospect of the crowning of the undisputed champion temporarily leaving, Usyk and Dubois are now negotiating.

On the other hand, promoter Frank Warren has argued that Dubois can beat Oleksandr Usyk. “I fancy it, I think he can win the fight, I wouldn’t make it otherwise” stated Frank Warren as per a talkSPORT exclusive. Unfortunately, despite the announcement of Usyk vs. Dubois, boxing fans showed disappointment at the loss of the bout between ‘The Cat’ and ‘The Gyspsy King’.
