Boxing legend and the owner of Golden Boy Promotions Oscar De La Hoya recently shared his opinion on the fight. It seems that Oscar De La Hoya isn’t budging from his prediction.

In a recent interview with Fight Hub TV, Oscar De La Hoya was asked to share his views on the highly anticipated bout. The reporter asked if Oscar changed his pick for the winner. However, he replied, “It hasn’t changed”. He further added, “I mean they haven’t fought ever since I’ve predicted that Crawford would win”.
Moreover, he believes that nothing has changed other than the fact that the fighters are getting older now. Moreover, Mike Coppinger, the ESPN insider, has also suggested that the winner of the fight will most likely face Jermell Charlo.

De La Hoya made it clear that he still believes that Crawford has the ability to achieve victory over ‘The Truth’. He believes that Crawford has better boxing IQ and skills. Moreover, the boxing promoter stated that one does not need to be a genius to know who is better among the two. Though De La Hoya acknowledged Spence Jr’s skills, however, it seems that it still is not enough for him to defeat ‘bud’.

De La Hoya believes Spence Jr can’t catch Crawford
“Spence, don’t get me wrong, he is a great fighter. I mean we built him, Golden Boy built him”, De La Hoya said. He acknowledged Spence Jr’s strength and claimed that he has a shot at knocking Terence Crawford out. “Spence has a tremendous shot at knocking him out,” he said. However, he also added that it will only be the case “if he catches him.”

De La Hoya thinks that Spence Jr has “tremendous power” and “tremendous IQ”. But what shifts the odds in favor of Crawford in Oscar’s eyes is his leg movement.
