On August 20, in this year’s most anticipated fights of the year, Anthony Joshua squared off with Oleksandr Usyk, for the second time. Fans eagerly waited for this fight for two reasons. Firstly, to see if ‘AJ’ avenged his loss to Usyk, and secondly, to see if Tyson Fury will announce his return to the ring. The fight took place inside the Jeddah Superdome, Jeddah, in Saudi Arabia. Although ‘AJ’ returned with high hopes for the rematch, Usyk snatched his win.

The three judges that scored the bout were Glenn Feldman, Viktor Fesechko, and Steve Gray. Only Feldman scored the bout in Joshua’s favor after the fight. Regarding this, in a “repeated crime” statement, Jake Paul accused Matchroom Boxing of bribing Feldman to help Joshua win.

Chairman of Matchroom Sport and the promoter of ‘AJ’, Eddie Hearn, recently replied to Paul. He said, “What he said, allegations of corruption, was unacceptable. And it will be dealt with. I take it extremely personally because it’s questioning our integrity. I won’t have it.”

Here is what Jake Paul had earlier said.

Jake Paul accuses Matchroom Boxing and infuriates Eddie Hearn

In the near past, Jake Paul and Eddie Hearn, met one another as Katie Taylor fought Amanda Serrano inside the Madison Square Garden. In that bout, Paul promoted Serrano and Hearn promoted Taylor. Taylor won the fight via decision and that upset Paul. In the Taylor vs. Serrano fight, judge Glen Feldman was also involved and he had scored the bout for Taylor.
