Until now, Jared Anderson has walked over his opponents and has never been blemished in any of his fights. But in a few hours, he’s going to face the biggest challenge of his career. This is going to be his second fight of the year, against a former titleholder. When it comes to boxing skills, Anderson has passed with flying colors, but he’s yet to give proof of his durable chin.
And Charles Martin will put it to the test on July 1st in front of Anderson’s turf, in Toledo, Ohio. Now, Martin can definitely punch hard as it’s quite evident with his previous two knockdowns against Luis Ortiz last year. Martin has faced some of the best boxers in the division, including Anthony Joshua. So he’s definitely an experienced opponent, where Anderson still may be lacking.
