One of the finest female pugilists, Amanda Serrano, will once again fight under the big lights to escalate her boxing stint. ‘The Real Deal’ will take on Miriam Gutierrez at the Amalie Arena in Tampa. Gutierrez is one of the most skilled boxers of recent times and Serrano isn’t underestimating her opponent by any means.
That said, the Puerto Rican boxer considers this as an important outing and she even mentioned this in her recent statement of the Paul vs Woodley press conference.
She said, ‘‘This fight is very important, you know. Miriam is a tough, durable, big fighter, and she took the task of fighting me and I had to get to Miriam this night.”

“I know she’s coming to, it’s been a lot of upsets lately, and I know she wants to come in do the same thing but, I’ve trained super hard and I know Miriam is a tough girl, and it’s going to be a great night.”
Miriam Gutierrez isn’t one fighter who stays in the limelight. However, for putting up stern in-ring performances, she’s definitely one of the best. Her only career loss came in against the stout Katie Taylor last year.
In that fight, too, Gutierrez gave her best shot to keep the fight leveled. She also ended up doing that to a great extent. But the Irish boxer was just too good on fight night and she won the bout via a UD. Despite that, Gutierrez showed heart and she left the ring with some sound respect.
Can Miriam Gutierrez do enough to keep Amanda Serrano on her toes?
Gutierrez is more of a tactical fighter, whereas Serrano employs power and smart fight tactics to outclass her opponents.

Serrano is definitely stronger on paper, but the Spanish boxer too has some stern skills in the bag to keep ‘The Real Deal’ challenged.
