A big shout-out to Jake Paul. Skilled or not-skilled. He raises the bar every time he undertakes a new endeavor. When many claimed that he was picking up old, retired UFC fighters, he took the challenge and fought Tommy Fury. From the first bout against a professional boxer, ‘The Problem Child’ has now graduated to fighting none other than Mike Tyson. What’s more, he isn’t even hesitant to expand his horizons to the octagon either!

Though he aims to remain focused on boxing, Jake Paul appears keen on making his MMA debut. To that intention, last year, in January, he joined the Professional Fighters League (PFL) for a multi-year fight deal. So how does he plan to make a grand entry into the mixed martial arts world? Reportedly, he has an offer worth $10 million for either Jorge Masvidal or Nate Diaz to take. Note that this seemingly follows ‘Gamebred’s recent rant against the YouTuber-turned-boxer. Despite this, why would the latter still have his offer on the table?

But the Offer? Still Up for Grabs

In a post on X, Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) shared a short clip featuring the Ohioan responding to Jorge Masvidal. It is basically taken from his podcast, ‘BS w/ Jake Paul’. ‘The Problem Child’ put on the actor’s hat, mimicking the former UFC ‘BMF’ champion. “What the f*ck you gonna do coming over to MMA, bro? …You can’t even box. You what the f*ck you gonna do coming over to MMA, bro? I’m f**king from Miami, Florida, bro…” Jake Paul said mocking Masvidal.

But then, on a serious note, Paul explained, “All of these guys, like, hide behind these crazy things, but still none of them have shown up to the table to talk any business about anything that make anything actually happen in a real fight in a real spar.

However, sharing that he is still open to fighting either Masvidal or Diaz, ‘The Problem Child’ revealed, “So the offer still stands there, either Masvidal or Diaz in the PFL, $10 million dollar offer for either one of those guys.

During a discussion with Ariel Helwani, addressing him directly, Jorge Masvidal told Paul to stay out of MMA. So as it stands now, Masvidal and Nate Diaz, after their last duel in 2019, will meet again on June 1. But it’s a ten-round boxing match set at 175 pounds. The bout takes place at the KIA Forum in Inglewood, California. On the other hand, what did Masvidal actually say to trigger Jake Paul into engaging in a mimicry of his statement?

Keep your hands off, MMA! Jorge Masvidal to Jake Paul

From the gist of the discussion with Helwani, it appears that the ‘Gamebred’ had received a list of names to consider. The ‘MMA Hour’ host mentioned that Jake Paul’s name wasn’t there. So Jorge Masvidal took the matter straight on.

He said, “I’ll address that little coward right now because I know he’d be watching sh*t….what the f*ck are you going to do in MMA? You are you kidding me; you can’t even box now. All of a sudden, you f**king MMA. I’d kick your f**king kneecap off your fragile body, you dumb motherf**ker. Don’t ever bring up MMA, you disrespectful piece of sh*t.

In fact, after their August duel last year, talks of a mixed martial arts fight, as a rematch, between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz intensified and gained strength. In a tweet, MVP shared that Paul had reportedly accepted the MMA fight offer. However, not much came out of it thereafter.

So, what’s your take on Jake Paul’s plan? Should he stick to boxing or try a hand in mixed martial arts on the side, which doesn’t hurt either?
