It was 2013 when the world was familiarised with the name Jake Paul. Embarking on his path to notoriety, Paul began making content on the then-popular app, Vine. By the time the app saw its decline, he had amassed a staggering 5.3 million followers. That’s where his story to global fame began. Once Vine saw its closure, Paul shifted his base to YouTube, where he found a niche he could thrive in. But niches were never Jake Paul’s thing.

His yearning to expand his name in various pursuits pushed him toward the boxing ring. In August 2018, he undertook his maiden fight against British YouTuber Deji Olatunji. A stellar victory through a sixth-round TKO here began his journey toward a successful boxing career. Yet again, this was not enough for him. As the years became his, the fighter explored various avenues of income. From starting his own promotions company to co-finding an online betting platform, the fighter has masterfully created a stream of income. And today, he reaps the benefits from them.

It was 2022 when Paul came together with Joey Levy to create a social media and betting platform. Betr is a contemporary sportsbook that curates content along the lines of sports betting. Ever since its inception, the platform has grown beyond expectations. So much so that it secured the 10th position on the Top Chart of the App Store. A proud founder of the platform, Paul took to his Instagram stories to share his happiness. He said, “Top 10 in sports. Betr is creeping in on the competition. A huge feat for the fighter, the recent few months have been really big for the platform. The $300 million company had earlier announced that it had raised a staggering $35 million in funding. Joining the Betr family through this investment was Fuel Venture Capital and Roger Ehrenberg of IA Sports Ventures and Eberg Capital.

It is that time of the year that Americans will turn to their TV sets, with a chilled beer in their hands, and anticipation clamouring through them.
