Many get into the sport of boxing without ever reaching heights, and as a result, they give up. However, that is not the case with ‘The Problem Child’ Jake Paul. Paul has found more than enough success in his boxing career, losing only once to Tommy Fury. With his tenth professional fight on the way, Paul is all ready to fully secure another win.
Paul is fighting on the undercard of Amanda Serrano vs. Nina Meinke on March 2. He is fighting against Ryan Bourland who is a pro with 17 wins. The press conference for the fight just happened, in which Paul was asked for thoughts on Eddie Hearn. Lo and behold, he did not hold back and spoke his mind on Hearn, and here’s the whole story.

Amanda Serrano, who is promoted by MVP which is Jake Paul’s promotion company lost her fight against Katie Taylor. Following this, Serrano has asked for a rematch against Taylor several times. Taylor is backed by Matchroom AKA Eddie Hearn, who has mostly been against their rematch. Jake Paul when asked about Hearn said, “You know I think he is a typical person in boxing, you know says a lot, promises a lot, but doesnt deliver,” questioning Hearn’s integrity.

Further Paul said, “His mouth is bigger than everything else he does and basically we’ve trying to make that fight happen, all the negotiations everything and it’s just really difficult to work with them,” mentioning how hard it is to work to Matchroom as a whole.
He went on to mention how he is willing to put aside their differences to make the Serrano rematch happen considering how much she wants it. With all of this happening, Paul has also taken the time to call himself the ‘new Mayweather’ of boxing. Let us see why.

Paul and Carl Froch have been back and forth on social media over time, discussing the possibility of fighting. In a recent chat with BoxingSocial, Paul was asked if there was a chance of Froch coming out of retirement just to face Paul. To which Paul responded with affirmation saying, “Of course he would, he wants payday. Of course, bro. All these guys will fight me. I’m the new Floyd Mayweather in the sport, seriously.”
Jake Paul Believes Tommy Fury Rematch Has to “Happen at Some Point”
Drawing a parallel between himself and the legendary Floyd Mayweather, Paul claims that he is the big thing. According to him, he is the one that everyone wants to fight right now. He further expressed, “Because I make my own decisions, I know how to get the business contracts done, I do the biggest PPVs, and I’m my own boss,” stating his independence from any promotions or such.
