In a recent tweet, Jake Paul stated that he abides by the Mamba Mentality, by posting a video of Gary Vitti telling a Kobe Bryant story. Jake Paul has transformed himself into a successful boxer from a Youtuber, and that may have required an invincible mentality. Kobe Bryant, a great basketball player, was well-known for his perseverance and dedication to the game. And Paul has stated earlier that he wants to be a boxing Champion, and to make that happen, what’s better than to learn from the best already?

This is not the first time Jake Paul has talked about the Black Mamba, he’s always been vocal about his love for Kobe. It won’t be an exaggeration to say, Paul is a fan of Kobe Bryant. Also, on what would be Mamba’s 44th birthday, Paul gave a memorable tribute to him.

Jake Paul posted the video of Gary Vitti on his tweet and talked about how everything is achievable if you have the right mindset. There isn’t anything in this world that’s not possible. He also preached that it’s important to fight through adversaries, in order to prove your belittlers wrong. And he also paid tribute to Kobe Bryant, as he’s the epitome of such a mindset.

Gary Vitti’s story about Kobe Bryant

 In the video shown in Jake Paul’s tweet, Gary Vitti told an interesting story about the time when Kobe Bryant ruptured his Achilles tendon. This story is the best example of Kobe’s bravado. He walked off the court on his own despite the pain, just to send a subtle message to Paul Pierce, who had to be taken off the court in a wheelchair when he was injured. And the message was received as told by Vitti. He said, “So that was the message he was sending to everybody in the league. And it was sent. Loud and clear.

Not only that, Vitti told that he had to convince Kobe that he needs to get off the game due to his injury. Kobe wasn’t ready to leave the game unfinished. He tried to pull his tendon down, which obviously didn’t work, and even tried to see if he could walk on heels. When nothing worked, Vitti said that Kobe asked him to tape it up so that he could finish the game.
