Gary Vitti’s story about Kobe Bryant

 In the video shown in Jake Paul’s tweet, Gary Vitti told an interesting story about the time when Kobe Bryant ruptured his Achilles tendon. This story is the best example of Kobe’s bravado. He walked off the court on his own despite the pain, just to send a subtle message to Paul Pierce, who had to be taken off the court in a wheelchair when he was injured. And the message was received as told by Vitti. He said, “So that was the message he was sending to everybody in the league. And it was sent. Loud and clear.”

Not only that, Vitti told that he had to convince Kobe that he needs to get off the game due to his injury. Kobe wasn’t ready to leave the game unfinished. He tried to pull his tendon down, which obviously didn’t work, and even tried to see if he could walk on heels. When nothing worked, Vitti said that Kobe asked him to tape it up so that he could finish the game.
