Claims of headgear and oversized gloves swirled around the internet, adding to the already sky-high controversy, due to the claims made by Derek Chisora. Paul’s team has put those rumors to bed. However, Most Valuable Promotions’ co-founder Nakisa Bidarian has confirmed something else.
While the exact rules and professional sanction status remain unclear, Bidarian revealed on her Instagram, “Unequivocally there is no headgear for Paul vs Tyson. Haters spreading fake news but it won’t stop the 10’s of millions of views.”
