Social media personality turned boxer Jake Paul is set to face former Golden Gloves champion Ryan Bourland in a boxing match scheduled for March 2 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Despite Bourland not being widely known in the boxing world, he brings significantly more ring experience than Paul. The YouTuber has been constantly reminding fans of how worthy the opponents he fights are. With a world championship title in view, Paul is also leveling up.

Jake Paul demonstrates stunning skills despite injury

Most Valuable Promotions, the boxer’s promotion company posted a clip of their fighter throwing punches as his trainer holds the pads. The post captioned “Jake Paul looked SHARP in the open workout ahead of his Saturday, March 2nd fight” had Paul inside a squared ring before featuring on Amanda Serrano’s undercard. The Boxer threw sharp and clean punches on the pad that his trainer, BJ Flores held.


In a recent YouTube video capturing Paul’s training camp in Puerto Rico, he disclosed that he would enter the fight with an injury. While the severity of the injury remains undisclosed, Bourland boasts a commendable professional record of 17-2. Consequently, Paul faces a significant challenge in his upcoming bout this Saturday. Even in such circumstances, Paul has managed to impress his fans.

Fans predict a new champion

Paul has been growing and fans have taken notice of it. Even the ones who were not quite in support of the controversial figure have acknowledged his grit and hard work.

One fan underlined the growth curve of Paul. “His improvement since switching coaches is admirable, the KSI fight gets more one sided by the day” he said.

Another fan said, “I don’t like Jake at all but got dam he got hands”.
