American professional golfer Dustin Johnson recently resigned from the PGA tour. The news got all over the internet, and Paul took this as an opportunity to mock MMA fighter, Nate Diaz.

Jake Paul and Nate Diaz have been fighting on Twitter for quite a time now.‘Nate Diaz should just resign from UFC and join PFL,’ Paul wrote in a recent tweet, mocking Diaz yet again. Let’s wait and see whether Diaz reacts or not.

Jake Paul and Nate Diaz’s Twitter war

The YouTuber turned boxer fought former MMA fighter, Ben Askren, on April 17, 2021. Although the latter was a seasoned fighter, Paul, who was still a novice, entered the ring with confidence. Eventually, he knocked out Askren in the first round, emerging as the champion.

Following that, Paul faced another MMA fighter, Tyron Woodley, inside the ring. ‘The Problem Child’ again shocked the world by winning a bout against Woodley.

Askren mentioned on the Lex Friedman podcast, “So the thing I said when I went in to fight him [Jake Paul] is maybe he’s good or maybe he’s not. We really have no idea to this point, you know, I knew that Tyron was a lot better in boxing than I was.”

He further added, “And so I thought that there is a good likelihood that Tyron beats him up, but there is a chance that Jake is kind of good at this. I think what played out is he’s kind of good at it. And if you saw the way I saw it, he was still impressive in his showing and he has obviously put a lot of time into it. So, he’s not bad, I’ll say that much.”

Surprisingly, Nathan Diaz’s tweet expresses his belief that Askren is neither a capable boxer nor an MMA fighter. And he doesn’t think it’s worth paying heed to an appreciation note from a retired wrestler.
