Jake Paul will take on boxing legend Mike Tyson in a livestreamed match on Netflix this July. The fight is scheduled for July 20th at AT&T Stadium in Texas. This is bound to become a significant moment for both fighters and the streaming platform. While details on the undercard are yet to be revealed, the main event is sure to generate considerable buzz. It will put out a total of 80,000 tickets for the fans, and will be bannered as an exhibition fight.
This isn’t the first time Paul and Tyson have crossed paths in the boxing world. Back in 2020, Paul boxed on the undercard of Tyson’s exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. This bout was significant in boxing as it was Tyson’s return to the ring after a 14-year hiatus. Paul also stated, “Within just two and a half years of founding Most Valuable Promotions, we’re about to produce the biggest fight in history, a fight in the biggest NFL stadium in the US, broadcast live, on the biggest streaming platform in the world.” So, he’s excited to yet again put his skills to test, as he’s already done a lot of times against the professional boxers.
