Now, the challenge to break this record has been taken up by the Youtuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, who is hellbent on delivering a massive fight to the fans. Well, according to the famous comedian Andrew Schulz, the fight between Paul and Mike Tyson might just turn out to be the biggest night in boxing history.

So much so that it could even surpass the numbers of Mayweather vs. Pacquiao. Well, for one reason, it’s not a PPV fight, and for that reason, it’s available for the fans quite easily. Netflix will also make its debut in the sweet science through this fight, and in the coming years, the streaming service could become the future of fight streaming for the sport. At least that’s what Andrew Schulz believes when he is talking about the marquee showdown.

In an episode of Brilliant Idiot, Charlamagne tha God talked about how live events on streaming platforms will change the current status of media. This let the co-host Andrew Schulz divert the topic to Netflix’s choice of dwelling into broadcasting a boxing fight.

Schulz commended Jake Paul for bouncing back off the criticism surrounding his last fight and announcing the enthralling bout. Schulz stated, “He just finds a way I mean this fight’s going to be massive. It’s Dallas Cowboys Stadium, it’s going to be the most attended fight.

Then they mentioned how Netflix has bought this event, and it’ll turn out to be extremely profitable. Andrew Schulz noted, “We’re talking about Live Events yeah it’s going to be a live event on Netflix. This is a game changer, also because it’s not like there’s a fee. I think Netflix could have also charged $20 and then people would have watched for $600-$70 whatever the f***ing ESPN charges. But I think they’re just giving away and they’re getting sponsorship. This is going to be the most viewed fight, dude it might be the most viewed fight in history.

Well, the fight has already started showing results of its hype, even though it’s still four months away from happening. Not long ago, MVP also flaunted their 50,000 early access on the ticket sales, which is quite a lot for an event that’s nearly free of cost for all Netflix subscribers.
