However, it appears that even off the ring, the new year started on a wrong note for Miller as well. ‘Big Baby’ has been arrested and this has taken the boxing world by storm. Here’s everything about the incident and the current plight Miller is facing.

Later on, the situation became clearer that as of Wednesday evening, Miller remains detained in Fort Lauderdale, with a bond set at $30,000.Reports from WSVN-7, a Miami TV station, shed light on the incident. It appears Miller targeted a Black Dodge Ram pickup from Haims Motors in Hollywood. Although the dealership had recently taken back the truck, Miller, aided by an unnamed woman, executed a swift move. They approached an employee, overpowered him, and drove away with the vehicle.
Interestingly, the woman reportedly misled the employee, claiming she’d left her phone in the truck. This ruse allowed Miller the opportunity to strike. Prosecutors are now labeling the act as a premeditated assault. Apparently, the truck had a tracker installed in it which led straight to Miller’s arrest. Interestingly. the incident comes off the heels of a major setback he faced in his boxing career.
It is not the first time Miller landed in hot waters
This arrest is not Miller’s first brush with controversy. His recent loss to Daniel Dubois in Saudi Arabia, a match that ended in the 10th-round TKO, was a significant setback for the boxer. Notably, Miller’s career had previously seen promising highs, including a scheduled fight against champion Anthony Joshua in 2019.

However, a positive drug test halted that opportunity, and a subsequent suspension in 2021 further marred his professional record. At the time, GW1516 was found in his system leading to a huge controversy. Miller, however, appeared outraged over the incident as he claimed his innocence. He had stated, “I have never, ever willingly taken a steroid for performance-enhancing purposes.”
