Anthony Joshua is keeping himself busy as he trains for his rematch against Dillian Whyte touted to take place in August of this year. Both AJ and Dillian are preparing hard to face each other. The two have a long-running history dating back to their amateur days when Whyte beat AJ. In their professional careers, the two battled it out for the 2015 heavyweight British title, wherein AJ won by seventh-round stoppage. There was a delay in the finalization of their second professional fight because of a rematch clause placed in their contract by Joshua. However, the clause has been removed and the likelihood of the fight taking place is just an official announcement away.
Amidst this, Twitterati has given its two cents on one of the videos that have gone viral in which Joshua is training for his bout. Moreover, Tyson Fury’s response to the video has divided opinion among fans.

Is Tyson Fury overestimating himself by poking fun at Anthony Joshua? Fans have their say
The boxing world shared their opinion after Fury’s comment on AJ’s training video went viral. Fans, who are siding with AJ, have taken a dig at Fury for not being able to book a fight ever since his last scheduled bout with Oleksandr Usyk collapsed. Meanwhile, some fans sided with Fury and made fun of Joshua’s training methods.
Mc_Legend_Face mentioned that AJ had fought Usyk twice, while Fury’s fight with the latter collapsed.
At least AJ had the balls to fight Usyk twice! 🥊 He had the heart to put his belts on the line
& that mattress is better opposition than Fury has currently got lined up! 😂

ImKhan990 pointed out the long absence of Fury from the ring.

banzaimike1985 said that Fury desperately ‘leeches’ off any news mentioning AJ.
Where there’s news for AJ there’s Fury desperate to leech off of it because if he doesn’t then nobody gives a toss and will quickly forget him 😂

Certain fans also seconded Fury’s remark about AJ’s apparent bizarre way of training. A fan RaphaCertified compared this to traditional boxing regimes that legends in the past imbibed.
Is this how heavyweights train nowadays?
I remember Mike Tyson training with his neck bruh talk about strength and conditioning to the limits 😬🥴— King Katz 👑🕺🏿 (@RaphaCertified) July 4, 2023

Fans are divided over the approach Joshua has taken to practice for his big bout coming up, but they sure want to see him in action once again. Moreover, there are talks of Joshua possibly facing Deontay Wilder this December in Saudi Arabia, and the all-British heavyweight clash between him and Whyte will prove to be a nice tune-up for the possible Saudi mega-event.
