This raised many questions, and an account, ‘AccordingToBoxing’, shared the picture from the interview on the X. They asked the fans, “Good work or getting worked?” The fans had their answers ready. One of the fans stated that Benavidez would never get worked up because of the work he put in during his training.

Another fan stated that getting hit is pretty common during a good sparring session.

However, one fan talked about how it is getting worked in a way, but if he learned some things through it, then it can be considered “good work.”

David Benavidez understands that the 2008 Olympian Demetrius Andrade wouldn’t be an easy fight. For that reason, he’s been training hard because he knows he’ll have to bring his 100% for this fight. He even debunked the claims of fighting Denis Douglin, as he mentioned that he was just there for a couple of weeks, but now he isn’t part of his training camp.

About the black eye, Benavidez confessed, “Sometimes, the punches get through.” Moreover, he continued to talk about his great training camp that had been going on. He said, “We’re having some really good sparring, and we’re having some sparring partners that emulate ‘Boo Boo,’ and we’re having really good sparring sessions.”
