Ryan Garcia is set to take on Gervonta Davis on the 22nd of April. Ahead of their fight, in the recent past, Garcia called out Vasyl Lomachenko stating that he would “break this robot [Lomachenko].” Garcia branded Lomachenko as a “robot”, who he is willing to fight after his match with ‘Tank’ Davis. Recently, ESNEWS interacted with the Ukrainian and the former lightweight champion of the world.

While Lomachenko predicted Gervonta Davis to win, Garcia spoke about defeating Lomachenko should they square off inside the ring. On being informed of what Garcia said about him, Lomachenko declared that he did not care and that Gracia was “just talking”. “No. I don’t care he’s always talking. Just talking,” said Lomachenko casually to ESNEWS.

Vasyl Lomachenko says Gervonta Davis will finish Ryan Garcia

Like others, Lomachenko is excited about the fight between Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis. In his opinion, it will be an interesting fight in boxing. However, according to his observation, Davis is used to fighting boxers who are both taller and bigger than him. “I said before, it’s a very interesting fight. It depends on how they prepare for this fight. If they [both] prepare 100%. It will be very, very interesting and very hard, tough for both because they understand boxing,” said Lomachenko as per BoxingScene.

However, the two-time Olympic gold medalist feels Gervonta Davis is more technical when it comes to boxing. According to Lomachenko, Davis possesses both power and speed. “I think, in my opinion, Gervonta Davis will win because he is very technical, he has the power, he has the speed, and he knows how he needs to move. And he always fights guys who are bigger [and taller] than him.” The Ukrainian fighter is likely to make his return against Devin Haney.

While he stays outside the ring, Garcia has a chance to prove himself against Gervonta Davis on April 22. Loma who believes that Davis is technical and can handle figures taller than him concluded by saying, “I think Davis will finish him“.
