Jutta Leerdam Sets New Track Record, Jake Paul Joins Fans in Celebrating World Champion Girlfriend’s Recent Milestone

Jake Paul has one more addition to his list of celebrations. The YouTuber-turned-boxer scored his ninth win by knocking out Ryan Bourland in Puerto Rico last week. Next came the announcement of a bout that he reportedly longed for—a fight with Mike Tyson—that seems to have sent shock waves across the boxing world. Now, he has a rather personal reason to rejoice.

The day before yesterday, at the ISU World Skeet Skating Championship 2024 in Inzell, Germany, girlfriend Jutta Leerdam won a medal and set a new track record. Understandably delighted with his partner’s achievement, ‘The Problem Child’ took to his Instagram story. In the post shared by the International Skating Union (ISU), many joined in congratulating the Dutch world champion.

Jake Paul wrote, “New track record,” followed by faces with steam emoticons. ISU mentioned, “Finishing the season on a high.” Then they updated that Jutta Leerdam won second place in the 1000 m with a new track record. She won a bronze medal in the overall standings, falling behind fellow countrywoman Femke Kok and Miho Takagi from Japan who won silver and gold medals respectively.

According to speedskatingnews.info, around 55 athletes from eighteen countries have participated in the three-day event that will conclude tomorrow. Amidst all the celebrations, fans online also joined in to congratulate the athlete on her achievement.

A stream of followers joined, lauding Jutta Leerdam for her latest feat.

Born on December 30, 1998, Jutta Monica Leerdam, became a champion at the Helsinki, Finland held 2017 World Junior Championships. Following a string of wins at different amateur events, she became a professional speed skater in 2018. Though initially a member of Team IKO, in 2022 she switched over to Team Jumbo-Visma.
