The former champion mentioned King in his book, ‘Undisputed Truth’, and wrote, “When I think about all the horrific things that Don has done to me over the years. I still feel like killing him.”

Apparently, King started promoting a 19-year-old Tyson in 1986, which lasted for a long time. However, Tyson had accused Don King of not paying him his share of the money. In 1998, ‘Iron Mike’ filed a lawsuit against the promoter claiming that he owes around $100 million to Tyson.

It was not the first time that a boxer had accused King of not paying them their money. Even Muhammad Ali and Larry Holmes had made similar claims about King. Notably, Tyson and King’s lawsuit ended in 2004, with a settlement of $14 million.
