The return of Errol Spence Jr. has lived up to the hype as the unified welterweight champion defended his titles in style against Danny Garcia in a 12-round clinical showdown.
Before the fight, several analysts had belittled ‘The Truth’. However, Errol Spence Jr. left no doubts in the ring and registered yet another professional victory.
Despite a long lay-off of more than a year, Spence Jr. showed that he is still treacherous inside the ring. In his latest fight, he brought his best game and prevented Garcia from infusing much damage.

‘Swift’ had his moments in the fight and initially looked sharp. However, Errol Spence Jr. pushed him to the corner multiple times and landed some prominent jabs.
By the end of the fight, Garcia was worn out. But, he remained on his feet and kept the show rolling till the final bell.
Although ‘Truth’ couldn’t get the stoppage, the unified champion still tired out his adversary and claimed a unanimous win by a huge margin. The judges scored the contest 117-111, 116-112, 116-112 in favor of Errol Spence Jr.

What’s next for Errol Spence Jr.?
After such an alluring return, the champion might lock horns in a rematch against Shawn Porter. He has already beaten Porter in the past, but considering the ongoing welterweight tale, we might see the rematch soon. Meanwhile, a face-off with Terence Crawford is also possible.
