Dave Batista, in his recent interview with GQ, revealed the reason he removed a tattoo concerning Manny Pacquiao from his body. While Batista wholeheartedly supported the LGBTQ community, Pacquiao made certain “anti-gay statements” and showed signs of being “an extreme homophobe”. In 2020, Mark Whalberg, with his film Joe Bell, received warm praises from parents who supported the LGBTQ community and strongly embraced their children irrespective of their sexual preferences in life.
Apart from Batista, Manny Pacquiao maintained a friendship with Mark Wahlberg helping the same with one of his movies. In an old and short interview, Wahlberg even praised Pac-man claiming him the best in the world of boxing. On being asked if he learned anything from Pacquiao at The Fighter premiere, Wahlberg had said the following: “He’s the best in the world, the best ever to do it, so, of course. He’s humble and gives all the credit to Jesus.”

And then, he later came out publicly with some anti-gay statements and turned out to be an extreme homophobe,” Batista added by saying.

Certainly, if I sucker punch him he’s out,” reasoned Wahlberg regarding a fight with Manny.
In 2016, after Dave Batista publicly condemned Pacquiao’s statements, the latter admitted not being bothered by any of it. “I mean, Jesus lives in me so I’m always happy,” Pacquiao had replied by saying.
