Mike Tyson made it a point to sit ringside as the Times Square ‘Fatal Fury‘ unfolded. So will he make an appearance at the Honda Center, where, on June 28, his former opponent Jake Paul will take on the son of the boxing icon he used to idolize? At Anaheim’s Honda Center, Paul, who inflicted Tyson’s seventh career loss, is slated to meet Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. for a ten-round cruiserweight fight. Given his recent message, a few might have doubts.

Last November, Paul and Tyson dished out a fight that was telecast across the world on Netflix. Though the fight per se received a fair share of criticisms, the event turned out to be a huge success. Hence, many expect the Paul-Chavez card to closely follow on the heels of the AT&T show. Now, as far as star power goes, despite his accomplishments and pedigree, Chavez Jr. cannot compete with Mike Tyson. So his presence at the Honda Center could potentially add that extra spark.

Boxing-wise, it’s been six months since Tyson faced Jake Paul. After the fight, he famously pointed at Logan Paul when asked about a possible return. However, in a recent interview with Men’s Health, the boxing legend said, “The only person I’m fighting now is my accountant. Other than that, I’m just living life, and I’m doing good right now.” The response more or less hints at what Iron Mike plans to do next.
