Among some of his luxurious purchases, rapper 50 Cent still regrets purchasing the mansion of former heavyweight champion of the world, Mike Tyson. 50 Cent, who faced problems maintaining the mansion earlier owned by Tyson, sold the house. However, the In Da Club hitmaker did not make a profit from selling Tyson’s house. Instead, he suffered a loss of millions.

In an interview with Big Boy’s neighbourhood, 50 Cent spoke about the mistake he had made buying Tyson’s mansion. Apart from 21 bedrooms, the mansion had a total of 25 bathrooms, an indoor court, an indoor pool, and a green-screen room. The mansion was so difficult for 50 Cent to maintain that he decided to part ways with it. “The Tyson crib was like that, that was definitely it. I paid $4.1 [million] and I sold it for $3 [million],” 50 Cent said.

In The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, 50 Cent briefed his struggle with Mike Tyson’s mansion. According to 50, the hallway seemed extremely exhausting. In addition, he commented on how things fell apart since he could not use them properly. While Colbert laughed, 50 Cent went on with his vent.

This is why 50 Cent did not like the mansion of Mike Tyson

50 Cent believes he has learned his lesson by purchasing the mansion of Mike Tyson. The excruciating experience has taught him to not purchase a giant residence. “I don’t want a big house anymore. I experienced that with the Tyson mansion 55,000 square feet. Yeah, and then you look down the hallway and you go… Whenever you look down the hallway of the house, you don’t want to go over there. I don’t care what’s going on down there. I don’t want to go over there,” Cent would complain by saying.

“And then things would break because you did not use it. Because you did not turn it on now, the light is flickering. I didn’t need it, it’s like a party space,” Cent added by saying.
