Months After Coming Clean on His Alcohol and Gambling Addiction, Adrien Broner Pens Down Heartfelt Message on Fighting Everyday Battles

Adrien Broner has fallen back to square one, even though the vexatious comments regarding his behavior on the internet after his victory against Bill Hutchinson. But his bad choices again after the fight, have made him a target for boxing fans all over the world. Although Broner has made several statements about getting out of his alcohol and gambling addiction, he has still shown signs of visceral attempts of becoming the victim of his addictions. But recently, he has stated that he’s making a lot of changes in his habits and fighting every day for his betterment.

Broner had proved to the world that he’s finally made a successful comeback, and he even received plaudits from many boxing fans. Many times, he’s even started chasing his dream to become a Champion again, and it felt believable after his unanimous victory against Hutchinson. But as it turns out, Broner had to clarify the world about his improvement yet again.

Broner has taken a lot of bad routes regarding his life and career. But the good thing is, he’s constantly trying to change his ways, and striving hard to become a good person. Recently, he’s assured his fans that he knows he needs a lot of improvement, and he’d definitely amend his ways to win them back. A month ago, he even expressed gratitude towards his mother to put it “all on the line” for him.

In his latest Instagram story, ‘The Problem’ wrote, “Got to change a lot of sh*t man everyday is a task but I will get over the hump!” This reassurance was quite needed for his social image at the moment, as fans didn’t know where he was going to head in the future. Especially, after drawing strong claims of being sober and his dream of becoming a world champion.

Since his defeat against Manny Pacquiao in 2019, Broner has been inconsistent, as he’s had only two fights since then, that too with a huge two years gap. But if the fans started showing support after the Hutchinson fight, what exactly that the fans pulled themselves back yet again?

Broner confessed to being drunk after being done dealing with his alcohol problem

Not long ago, Broner had appeared on a live show hosted by The Danza Project. But in the entire live stream, Broner seemed to be inebriated, as he was slurring through the interview. Many times, he could be seen repeating himself again and again, this unstable behavior made the hosts’ job a bit difficult. The Danza Project also stated that it took a lot of time for them to schedule a meeting with Broner, but after the show, they had to delete the entire video because of its irrationality.

The interview was pulled with the consent of both teams. In the interview, at one point, Broner himself confessed to being intoxicated. He said, “Look, I am drunk, I am sorry.” Well, this confirmed that Broner has again fallen into the rabbit hole, but his recent statement has shown some hope to his fans. Maybe he’ll come back again and display his true boxing prowess that the world knows him for.

The 4-division champion holds the dream of grabbing a world title at the age of 34.
