Mike Tyson has never backed down from speaking his mind. Even about sensitive matters like politics, Tyson has always kept his stance clear about his political ideology. He told the world that when he was young, he believed in liberalism, but over time his personal experiences in the world made him a Conservative. He stated, it especially happened when he became a father. He witnessed the political developments around the world with a different lens and found himself to be leaning more toward the right-wing ideology.

In one of the interviews, he even said that he doesn’t like talking about his political beliefs as it could hamper a lot of his friendships. Nonetheless, in the recent episode of his podcast, Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, with the special guest, J Balvin, Tyson revealed how the whole world is driven by money. Moreover, Tyson could be heard making some bold statements regarding politicians.

Mike Tyson takes a hot take on politicians

The conversation popped off as the Colombian singer, J Balvin, was talking about the struggles pertaining to the Spanish music industry. After which, Tyson segued to how power usually corrupts people. And mostly rich people exploit others using their money.

Tyson said, “Well some people really don’t know, some of these big corporations are friends with these lawyers and Supreme Court guys.” Then, Tyson goes on to say how it becomes really difficult for the bourgeoisie to face these powerful entities.

He further revealed, “Rich people buy these politicians, that’s why they’re going to politics to be bought.

Tyson has never been known to be reticent, especially when the conversation is about his views on controversial issues. Not long ago, Mike Tyson sat down for an interview where he discussed his political beliefs for the first time on national television.

Tyson reveals his political belief in front of the world

In the August of 2022, Tyson gave an interview to NewsMax, where he was asked about whether he follows politics or not. To that, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ said that usually his friends and family don’t like his views and perspective on politics. That’s the reason he never talks about it often, because it may cost him many relationships. Once, Tyson also sent a personal message to politician Herschel Walker.

But the reporter pressed Tyson a bit to tease his fans about his political beliefs. Tyson said, “Now listen, when I was younger, I was all-out liberal. But as I get older, and I look at my children, and I see what’s out there in the world, I get a little conservative.
