Floyd Mayweather‘s family is still coping with the sorrowful demise of their beloved assistant, Marikit Laurico. The Mayweather family was struck with the news on March 31, 2023, and they couldn’t even fathom that their lovely ‘Kitchie’ isn’t in the same realm as them anymore. The cause of her death is said to be an untimely heart attack, well this definitely affected Floyd Mayweather’s kids as well. And even after 2 months of the unfortunate news, Floyd Mayweather’s daughter, Jirah Mayweather, shared a wholesome video with ‘Kitchie’ on her Instagram Story.

This news took aback a lot of known individuals, even Jamie Foxx joined Mayweather’s family as they lamented Laurico’s death. He was left shattered by the news and paid his tributes to the wonderful woman and his beloved friend. He took to Instagram and wrote, “I know they say the god doesn’t make mistakes, but come on man, not @ikitchie my heart is shattered”. In the caption he had revealed that he had met her just 2 weeks before her demise. He further wrote, “Rest beautifully my blessed friend gone too soon gone for no reason”. And now, Jirah Mayweather has unveiled the wounded hearts of many by sharing this recent video.

The sad news is believed to have initially been revealed on Instagram by one of her siblings. According to reports by The Sun, ‘Kitchie’ was already feeling a bit sick during her Dubai trip. But she was presumed to be on the mend. But obviously, that wasn’t the case. After her demise, Floyd Mayweather took a long break from social media.

Mayweather’s eldest daughter, Iyanna Mayweather, made a tribute post on Instagram in which she wrote, “This doesn’t feel real… my heart is so heavy. You were more than just my dad’s assistant you were family.” And then she went on to say that Laurico was a wonderful woman, and she always knew how to uplift anybody.

Now, YaYa’s half-sister, Jirah Mayweather has shared a video where Mayweather’s assistant can be seen helping her in setting up her eyelashes. And under the video, she also added 2 red hearts, thus posting this wholesome video in her remembrance.

This video is evidence that although it has been months since ‘Kitchie’ left us all, the hearts of Mayweather’s family still beats for her. It’s not just words when they said that Laurico was part of their family.
