Me, We! Outspoken, objector, rebel, crucial, or ‘The Greatest’ – whatever heavy adjective one may use, it would be difficult for anyone to define the figure of Muhammad Ali in one word alone. All hands down ‘The Greatest’ heavyweight boxer of all time, Muhammad Ali, over his decades-long contribution to the sport and deliberate cries for equality, established himself as a significant figure in the twentieth century way beyond a professional career in boxing.

Along with his blusterous and outspoken personality, tinged with excellent performances in and outside the ring, Ali, in his time, redefined boxing as a sport. In addition, on many political and social issues, he relentlessly voiced his humanitarian thoughts bereft of hesitation or any fear.

Why did Biaggio Ali Walsh choose MMA and not other sports, such as boxing?

Prior to this decision, Biaggio Walsh played football for the University of California. According to sources, he started his training during the coronavirus pandemic and did the most he could in his garage.

“Pursuing MMA makes me feel more emotionally, spiritually, physically, and mentally positive. I did no previous combat sports before MMA. I was always just a huge fan of martial arts and boxing,” Walsh said.

“I have been training MMA for about two and a half years now. Covid hit shortly after I began training so there was obviously a little delay but I worked out in the garage during that time. I train every day two or three times a day; I want to become a champion – the organization or promotion doesn’t matter. I want to make a name for myself and continue the tradition of fighting in my family,” he added.

It seems Mixed Martial Arts have been helping Walsh remain mentally sane and peaceful. In addition, as he expects, the sport shall also help him continue the fighting tradition of his family.

Anyway, what do you think about Walsh joining MMA instead of boxing? Let us know in the comments below.
