Tyson Fury seemingly called an end to a perfect career after his win over Dillian Whyte back in April. However, since then, he has teased a return to boxing on several occasions. The Gypsy King recently called out rival Derek Chisora for a trilogy, but only to announce his retirement once again on his 34th birthday.

Many fans and pundits think that Fury will come out of retirement to face the winner of Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk to decide the undisputed heavyweight champion. However, his longstanding rival Deontay Wilder does not think this will be the case.
In an interview with FightHypeTV, The Bronze Bomber was asked about his aspirations to become a champion once again ahead of his return to boxing and whether Fury was ready to relinquish his WBC title.
“We heard you talk about taking another run at becoming the unified you know, one facing of the division. You know you’re still no 1 in the WBC, do you think Fury is serious about vacating that belt?” the reporter asked Wilder.
Wilder makes a startling revelation about Fury
Wilder then claimed that Fury was indeed going to stay retired due to personal reasons that he wasn’t willing to disclose. “I mean he gonna have to retire. There’s a lot of stuff going on. I’m not even going to get into it, but it looks like he gonna have to,” said Wilder.

Moreover, he stated that once Fury has vacated the belt, he would be challenging for it and also that the heavyweight division will go through a monumental shift in the future. “Once that happened, then you know all things are up for grabs. I can’t give too much information out. I don’t really want to discuss it, but it’s gonna be a lot of changes in the division opportunities and a lot of different things lined up, so stay tuned.” He added.

It seems that the former champ has some important information about his rival that he does not want to reveal. By the looks of it, this could very well be the case, as Fury is acting erratically since he announced his retirement.

The Gypsy King has been all over social media over the past few months, calling out an opponent only to change his mind after a few days. This has made it very hard to keep track of his intentions that only Wilder might have an insight on.
