To many fans, it might appear as if Ryan Garcia is waging war on two fronts. On the professional end, days after initiating steps for a big blockbuster against Devin Haney, the young boxing sensation veered off course and seems to have set his sights on challenging Rolando Romero instead. But it seems like his personal life is gearing up to rival the intensity of his life inside the boxing ring.

Last week, social media was abuzz with reports of Ryan Garcia welcoming the birth of his son. Soon, an update that he and his wife, Andrea Celina, would be going separate ways followed. Garcia and Celina are also the parents of Bela, who was born three years ago. In the latest development, ‘KingRy’, in what appears to be deleted posts on X/Twitter, seems to have shared his side of the reasoning.

Ryan Garcia reportedly came with a four-point counter. First, he said, “No, My Son wasn’t born an hour before that post, so stop lying about that.” Then he highlighted that the divorce with Andrea Celina was not done an hour after the post: “No, my divorce wasn’t finalized an hour after the post.” Sharing that probably he should have been a bit more discreet, Garcia said that anyhow, since it has come out so openly, then anyone is free to form their opinion, whatsoever.

He stated earlier that there probably wasn’t an opportune moment to make the announcement. “There was never the right time to announce that. I should’ve just kept it private, but it’s not anymore, so make your assumptions about me,” said Ryan Garcia. Finally requesting everyone to give him and Andrea Celina some peace and privacy, ‘KingRy’ updated how he has been going through tough times. He also mentioned pulling down the post based on Celina’s request.

Ryan Garcia said, “Please respect this hard time now. I took down the post due to Andrea request. Now, please give us peace and privacy. Last week, the light welterweight challenger first shared with the world the happy arrival of his son, Henry Leo Garcia. He said, “Honored To announce my Beautiful First Born SON PRAISE THE LORD. I am so thankful; I love him so much already. He is so fast already, haha. Took him just 8 min to arrive. You know where he got that speed from, lol. GOD DID! But in what appears to be a deleted Instagram post, he said, “As I step into a new chapter in my life, it’s with a heavy heart to share the Drea and I have decided to divorce.” Ryan Garcia and Andrea Celina reportedly started dating in 2019 and welcomed their first child in December 2020.
