It has just been a few months since MMA artist Nate Diaz fought Jake Paul and took a loss inside the boxing ring. The former YouTuber-turned-prizefighter secured a unanimous decision victory (97-92, 98-91, 98-91) over Diaz at the sold-out American Airlines Center on Saturday night. Paul managed to hurt Diaz in the first round, indicating a potential early finish, but Diaz displayed resilience, turning the fight into a tough battle that persisted until the end.

The Professional Fighters League has now offered 10-15 million to Diaz to take on the ‘Problem Child’ in an MMA bout, revealed founder Donn Davis. Though Diaz has not yet accepted the offer, fans are in awe of the massive offer made. What are they predicting about this bout?

$10-15 million offer to Nate Diaz has left fans confused

Paul has on multiple occasions made it evident that he would not shy away from an MMA match with Diaz. Most fans, however, are surprised that PFL is willing to spend such a big fortune just to see the fighter brawl with Paul again. Some are busy predicting what will happen next.

“That’s a lot ! But will he accept the fight?” asked one fan who was doubtful about Diaz stepping into the octagon with Paul.

“Gonna run the pfl out of business just like showtime. This fight would not do well on ppv” Citing Showtime’s example, another fan claimed PFL would go bankrupt after the fight.

“Francis Ngannou got paid 10m for the Fury fight. You want me to believe PFL is offering 10-15m for a Nate Diaz fight? lol” Another fan refused to believe the news. Diaz being paid more than what Ngannou was paid for the Tyson Fury fight sounded impossible to him.

“To be honest even in the MMA fight. Jake will beat Nate. Nate is too old for MMA sports now.” Another predicted Paul’s win if Diaz decides to go against him.

“Jake is too soft to fight Nate MMA… no way would he agree to that.” said another fan who believed Paul was the one refusing to fight Diaz.

Is Nate Diaz Accepting the offer anytime soon?

Following their boxing match, it appeared that the two fighters had left on good terms and even discussed the possibility of a rematch in MMA. However, tensions have resurfaced between the two combat sports stars. According to Paul, Nate Diaz declined a lucrative $10 million offer for a rematch inside the cage. Paul expressed disappointment, stating that he wanted to make history by transitioning from boxing to MMA in the prime of his career, a move that few boxers have attempted. Diaz’s refusal to accept the offer led Paul to question Diaz’s reputation as a fearless competitor.
