Mike Tyson has since forever advocated the use of cannabis for medicinal purposes. The ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ himself incorporates it into his daily lifestyle. He says it keeps him calm and healthy. This love for the plant got him founding ‘Tyson 2.0’ in 2021, along with Chad Bronstein. The $160 million company which sells a wide range of both plant-based and non-plant-based products is on a climb upward. The business venture even caught the attention of Rick Flair and Hulk Hogan, the WWE stars who now have their own line-up of products in the company.

Adam Wilks, the CEO of Tyson 2.0 in a recent interview with EssentiallySports, spoke about a few future plans regarding where they will be taking their products next. And based on what he said in the interview, they have plenty of reasons to be elated.

The project has paced further than they had even anticipated. With a current worth of $160 million, the company is poised to reach greater heights in the coming years. On Friday, in an exclusive interview with ES Fancast, Wilks discussed the reach that he wants the company to achieve.

The team is focused on continuing expansion in a few more states and a few more countries. While the plant products are flourishing, their focus will also be now on their non-plant-based products like accessories, merchandise, and tobacco products.

An excited Wilks spoke at length about their future plans to take on the market. “Excited to keep growing these. Yes, there will be future collabs, future partnerships. Love what all the other guys are doing. But I can also say, don’t think anybody is doing it at our scale. Nobody else in the cannabis world is touching 17 countries like we are and nobody else can say there are 20+ states as we are. We’ll continue to grow and focus the way we have, staying efficient, staying authentic, and again, Bringing plant-based medicines to the masses at affordable prices,” said the CEO.

Adam Wilks saddened by competitor’s setback

While Wilks talked about a possible collaboration with competitor, Snoop Dogg, he also expressed sorrow over his brand not doing as well as it should have. The ‘Drop It Like Its Hot’ rapper, who is also an ardent cannabis consumer had built his own line of cannabis products, ‘Leafs by Snoop.’ Wilks believes that Snoop’s business could have helped introduce some competition thereby growing the already fledgling market. According to him, had Snoop done things a bit differently, the business could have taken off well.

Unfortunately, the brand reduced its operations a few years ago. However, rumors are that Snoop might be making a comeback into the cannabis industry with his Death Row Records. The brand is expanding and might be coming to your state soon if it has not already. Are you excited to try out their products? Let us know in the comments below.
