In a tweet, unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk shared the official song for his upcoming battle for the undisputed title with Tyson Fury. The fight, billed as the ‘Ring of Fire’, will see the two champions meet on May 18 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The one who wins will become the first undisputed champion of the heavyweight division since Lennox Lewis became one in 1999.

The match was initially scheduled to take place on February 17. However, the fight was canceled and subsequently postponed to May because Tyson Fury received an injury during a sparring session. The much-awaited fight came about after months of negotiations.

Tagging Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk wrote, ““Ring of Fire” official song May 18, Riyadh Can’t wait to see you, @Tyson_Fury.” Even His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, who is also the organizer of the mega event, shared the update through his X/Twitter handle. Alongside the details of the match, he said, “Ring of Fire official song “Can’t Lose This Fight” is out. Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk in Riyadh.

The animated video of the original soundtrack begins with the lines, “Rising Up In the dead of night, driven by the fear can’t lose this fight…” The sequence starts with the fight grabbing fans and followers’ attention over an announcement, “The first heavyweight champ since 1999. Who will be the undisputed champion….” The next sequences show the training montages of the two boxers, their struggles, and their final confrontation in the ring.

Tyson Fury joins the match after the troublesome fight against Francis Ngannou on October 28 last year. Oleksandr Usyk, on the other hand, successfully defended his unified status after knocking out Daniel Dubois on August 26, 2023.

Perhaps more than the song, followers seemed more concerned about Usyk scoring a win over Fury. Many would love to see him become the next undisputed heavyweight champion.

More than half a dozen undercard bouts appear to be gracing the fight night. There will be a super featherweight title fight between Joe Cordina and Anthony Cacace. Then Jai Opetaia and Mario Briedis will slug it out for the vacant IFC cruiserweight title. Other heavyweight fights include participation from Moses Ituma and Agit Kabayel as well.
